RE: Kay Chue Vang
CASE NUM: 19F0147
Dear Honorable Judge Michael B. Harper:
We are community members and friends of Kay Chue Vang. We wholeheartedly support her and ask for the minimum sentence. Having had the privilege of knowing her for several years, we can confidently attest to her exceptional character, unwavering dedication, and invaluable contributions to both her family and the community.
First and foremost, we want to emphasize Kay Chue Vang's commendable work ethic. She is a hardworking woman who consistently demonstrates determination, perseverance, and a strong sense of responsibility. Whether it be in her professional pursuits or the care and support she provides for her loved ones, she has shown an unwavering commitment to excellence.
As a mother, Kay Chue Vang exemplifies the qualities of dedication and selflessness. We have witnessed firsthand her tireless efforts to create a nurturing and loving environment for her children. Despite the challenges she has faced, she has consistently put their well-being above all else, ensuring that they receive the love, guidance, and attention they deserve.
Furthermore, she is a highly valued member of our community. She actively participates in various community initiatives and generously contributes her time and resources to causes that benefit those in need. Her compassionate nature and willingness to lend a helping hand have made a positive impact on the lives of many.
It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the years of mental abuse Kay Chue Vang has endured, which have tragically led her to this point. It is important to recognize that these circumstances have taken a toll on her emotional well-being and decision-making. However, it is equally important to acknowledge that she is fundamentally a good-hearted individual who has unfortunately found herself caught in a difficult situation.
We firmly believe that Kay Chue Vang can grow, heal, and rebuild her life. She has shown tremendous resilience and strength in the face of adversity. With the right support, guidance, and opportunities for rehabilitation, she can regain her footing and contribute positively to society once more.
In conclusion, we wholeheartedly support Kay Chue Vang and urge you to consider the minimum sentence. She possesses extraordinary qualities and is an exceptional human being who has faced significant challenges but remains deserving of compassion and a chance at redemption. We believe that by extending understanding and offering the appropriate resources, Kay Chue Vang can reclaim her life and make a meaningful contribution to society.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further information.

Kay Chue is a loving mother, daughter and to me a caring auntie. I have known her for 34 years and see it first hand of her kindness and hard working ethics of caring for her families, friends and even strangers. She is a trusted and very well respected in the Hmong community! She has shown lots of young women to work hard, to follow their dreams and to never give up! I pray that she will be home very soon with her children's as they need her the most. Thank you for your time.
Kay Chue Vang was a generous and compassionate businesswoman who whenever asked, donated to charity and projects. She was a kind and selfless woman. She deserves a second chance at life.
I do not know Kay Chue Vang personally, but from reading about her I can say that Kay is a good person. From my perspective or point of view, no matter how good of a person can be as a human being, one can only withstand so much and tolerate so much abuses or whatever you may call it. There must be a cause to began with to have an effect. As human being, nobody is perfect, and deserve a second chance. I believe that Kay did not intentionally caused harm to anybody. Your honor, nobody is perfect except for Jesus. Please consider the minimum sentence for Kay Chue Vang. Thank you.
Kay Chue vang is a daughter, mother, friend of everyone. Her kind friendly heart always helped our Hmong community. This tragic accident was not her fault. It was both of Kay Chue Vang and her husband. Her husband was a womanizer, lust, and abusive. He led Kay Chue Vang into this tragedy. Please forgive Kay Chue Vang, and give her second chance to make life better with her kids. Thank yoy
I remember buying Mong clothes for my family from her for many years when she lived in Sacramento. I also worked with her in providing support to her niece who had a disability and she was the one family member who acted as the family spokesperson in getting services to help her nieces and nephews even when she herself had a full plate with her own family. I wholeheartedly support Kay Chue Vang getting a reduced sentence.

We full and wholeheartedly support Kay Chue Vang in being released to return home as she has many children awaiting her. It's important for children to have their biological parent living in the home and as of right now, it is taking the support of an entire village to raise kids who deserve to have their mother home. Please release a mother who was the sole provider even before this unfortunate event to go home to her children.
