1) we the undersigned want Scarborough Borough Council to make sure that Raincliffe Woods & Forge Valley remains first and foremost a nature reserve and not used as a commercial enterprise . 2) We also want the council to ensure that other than the bare minimum building for equipment ,there will be no developments such as Cafe's, walk in centers, Ranger housing, or attractions designed to increase visitor numbers . 3) That building development for office space ,education , Workshops , Community facilities,farm shops, ecotourism andother developments not directly associated with woodland management should take place off site on a neighboring field ,not in the woods . 4) no housing development will be allowed on or off site that is directly associated with the woodland management 5) That the management of the Rancliffe Forge valley site should be done in such a way that the Woodlands pay for themselves and not rely on the public purse.
