Bill 85 will force the removal of ride-sharing from the State of Hawaii.

Ride-sharing prevents drunk driving, creates opportunities for local residents to earn additional income, and makes it easier to get a reliable ride. New government guidelines will soon drive ride-sharing out of our state.

Your digital signature will help keep the option for ride-sharing available to Hawaii's residents and future generations.

Hawaii needs these services to keep up with the demand of people needing to get to places at a reasonable cost. We have been over paying and abused far to long by these taxi companies. Not to mention treated badly and asked to do things that are not good to mention for our fare. We are in a different generation and personally I love Lyft and Uber. It has saved me time and money and so very convenient. Not to mention keeping drunk drivers off the streets. It's easier to catch a ride without getting jipped off.

Way too many good reasons to keep ride-sharing only dark, bureaucratic & inhumane reasons to get rid of it. I begs the question, who's side the people in government are on?

Ride sharing services such as Uber are an enhancement to existing taxi service. More options for the consumer are positive developments! Don't try and stop progress with legislation - Embrace it

The government should not regulate P2P activities like Uber.
