For more than three years, our new community has been violated by the reckless actions of those who feel the need to cut through our road and properties. There has been a pattern of blatant disregard for the property of each individual for which we all work so hard to maintain. We have banded together in our experiences of stolen property, vandalism, and blatant disrespect; however, even the most vigilant neighborhood watch cannot possibly keep up with the rigorous demands we face in our tiny community. The residents of Tedesco Way, therefore, request a permanent fence be erected to eliminate the pass-through located on the property of 17 Tedesco Way in order to ensure the safety of the residents, their property, and our families.
In sum, our community has experienced the following due to the availability of access to our road:
- Theft of personal property;
- Attempted break-ins;
- Destruction of property erected by the builder;
- Verbal altercations;
- Drug exchanges; and
- Trespassing.
We sign this petition today as affirmation we agree that measures must be taken to prohibit the continuation of trespassers through the walkway of the property.

Based on a recent bicycle theft (reported to Barnegat Police on 8/27), I am FOR the closing of the path. Thank you.
