The new owner of Eastbourne Pier (Sheikh Abid Gulza) wants to stop the fishing at the end of Eastbourne Pier. There has been fishing on the pier for as long as people can remember. It is part of Eastbournes history. The fishing is run by Arran Aghili of AT Tackle. Arran is very popular and runs a lot of competitions and raises a lot of money for charity, such as the RNLI. We would like to see the pier fishing continue way into the future. It's also a very safe place to fish and has a good community spirit.
