We, the undersigned fully support the continued operation of the Keno Drive-In as an operating outdoor theater located at 9102 Sheridan Road, within the Village of Pleasant Prairie, in the County of Kenosha, State of Wisconsin.
Mr. Mills, the Keno Drive-In has been in operation since the 1940's and is truly a historical icon to the Kenosha area as well the entire State of Wisconsin.
Presently there's only a select few remaining drive-in theaters in our area. The closest two drive-in theater's to the Kenosha area are the McHenry Outdoor Theatre in Illinois, and the Highway 18 Outdoor Theatre in Jefferson Wisconsin.
It is clearly understood, that you own the Keno Drive-in property for investment purposes. Whereas we the undersigned, duly request that you seriously consider renewing the lease with the present theater operator so that the Drive-In can remain operational during the presently needed conversion to a digital format.
As stated above, it is clearly known that you own the property for investment purposes. Whereas if the Keno Drive-In were allowed to remain operational, it can remain a profitable drive-in theater to provide many memories for the current generation of families & children, as it has for the generations over the past sixty plus years.
