To the members of the I.O.C.: Please do not remove wrestling from the Olympics. It is one of the oldest known sports in human history. It is a tradition that dates back to the original Olympic games. Wrestling is a sport that instills a level of sportsmanship that is second to none. It is one of the truest sports in every sense of the word. It combines strength, technique, stamina and intelligence in a way that few sports can. We believe this would not only hurt the Olympics, but it would be a great disservice to many potential athletes across the world by removing wrestling from the Olympics. We urge you to reconsider.
