My name is Dave Talkington and I'm an aspiring comedic writer. I recently had an idea for a comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Spacey and I'd love to have Kevin Smith write the film. I have started a Facebook page, a Kickstarter and an Indiegogo page and am trying to raise funds to make this project a reality.

By creating this petition, I hope to possibly attain Kevin Smiths attention and possibly getting him on board to write my movie titled The Governor.

It's a political comedy which pits two political rivals head to head over the position of Governor. With Kevin Spacey currently fulfilling the role of Governor, Ryan Reynolds looks to run for Governor. Spacey decides to set out and ruin all possible chances of Reynolds running and in the process, causes all of Reynolds' funding for his campaign to back out. Reynolds then decides to get 3 side jobs on top of his Senator position to fund his campaign himself and the movie follows the two going back and forth while Reynolds works 4 jobs to get there.

I have tried contacting Kevin Smith and I can only assume that my attempt will get lost in the multitude of people's attempts as well. My hope is that if I get enough attention on this petition, perhaps I'll garner Kevin Smiths attention as well.
