The Halifax Regional Municipality has decided to close the doors on the Khyber Club, even earlier than the expected February 19th deadline. This news comes as a major disappointment to the proposed Khyber Performing Arts Society (KPAS) who are in the process of incorporating as a non-profit society for the express purpose of keeping the Khyber Club alive. The Khyber Club is more than a bar for many of us. As it has been part of the Khyber Arts Society until now, it has a strong history of presenting interesting and progressive programming.
