The university finally buckled and agreed to open Eric Wood and Greenhouse as 24/7 study spaces. We forced them to acknowledge that stuffing us into the Kimberlin like sardines was unacceptable. Keep an eye on the door access to ensure they actually follow through on this promise.

The Kimberlin Library is too full because student caps have been removed. There is very rarely a computer available, it is too hot and the silent areas are turning into group study areas because people simply cannot find space in the library. This petition is lead by students for students and desires for Eric Wood and Greenhouse to be open 24/7. Please sign this petition if you agree that Eric Wood and Greenhouse should be open 24/7 - especially during exam periods.

Please sign your P number and name with a short comment requesting for more space in Kimberlin by the opening of Eric Wood and Greenhouse if you wish for things to change.

We just hit 500 signatures and the administration can no longer ignore this. It is time for them to stop packing us into Kimberlin like sardines and finally open Eric Wood and the Greenhouse.

The university administration can no longer ignore this massive swell of student anger. We are forcing them to acknowledge that their overcrowding policies have failed us and they need to open these spaces immediately.

Kimberlin is over crowded and too hot to work. Even when I go kimberlin at 10pm it's still too packed out. We need more space. Eric wood and greenhouse are great places to work and extending the timings would be perfect for everyone who wants to do work.

we need more PC's dual booted with linux too, there's several hundred people in the tech department who need access to linux and don't have it because there's only two rows of dual boot pcs in the entire library and they're always being used by people playing farmville on windows.

Too noisy, too warm and not disability friendly enough. It's alright having a ramp to access the ground floor of the library but the lift is not accessible to everyone who has a physical disability even those who may prefer not to officially disclose this to the university.

Request for more places to be open for revision usage. The kimberlin library is too busy and doesn't have enough space for the students that go to this university. Waiting 15 minutes for a table just so you can revise is not good enough!

I would like eric wood and the greenhouse to be open 24/7 as well as kimberlin, as a third year student approaching exams the level of noise is very distracting even in the silent study areas of kimberlin due to the high amount of students.

Doesn't help that some people have turned the library into a social centre but the library gets so rammed I darent go in there to do work. I will just check the books out I need and leave and go home to do my work.

During exam periods it is difficult to even find a computer.
