Christopher Columbus, the famous Christian explorer who discovered the Americas for Europe and laid the groundwork for over 500 years of great progress and prosperity, is under attack in America. Along with other memorials and monuments to our Christian faith, monuments to Columbus are being desecrated and destroyed. Yet the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council, our organization’s leadership, remain silent while individual members are left to defend his honor alone.

Our leadership are NOT leading.

We, the rank and file members of the Knights of Columbus, petition Knights of Columbus Supreme Council

1. To speak out publicly on behalf of Christopher Columbus;
2. To defend public statues, monuments and memorials to Christopher Columbus; and,
3. To coordinate actions by Knights of Columbus 1.9 million members and 16,000 councils to defend our namesake, our order, and our Christian faith.

Further, if our Supreme Knight and Supreme Council do not have the courage to STEP UP at such a critical time, we ask that you STEP ASIDE and resign your posts so fellow Knights with the courage to act may take charge to lead us forward.
