Final supporters
In the last second of the women's individual epee semifinals, referee and the olympic team of officials decided that Britta has scored against Shin A Lam at the last second, BEFORE the second was over. According to many sources, and video replays, not only did she not score during the second, but she scored a significant amount of time AFTER the second.
Olympics being a event of international peace and love, this sort of decisions should not be allowed. We as the international community call upon the olympics committee to re-examine this incident and draw a decision that fits the ideals and ethics of the Olympics. We believe that the second was not accounted for in the true amount of what a second must be, but prolonged, either intentionally or unintentionally, to ultimately benefit the well-being of the German team.
Such actions have been prevalent in the Olympics, not only in such fencing event, but in others as well. Such official errors did not only affect Korea but other countries as well.Refereesbeing those with the most knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of the games of which the Olympics are comprised of must stand in as the third party and always maintain a position of balance. However, the people, the internationalcommunity, has seen again and again that those elected asreferees do not possess the skills to do as defined.
Therefore, first we call upon the Olympics committee to re-examine their staff to make certain of their qualifications.
Second,we call upon the Olympics committee to be fair and truthful in their actions, remove all bias, and view the match with no hindsight, but with the fairness which displays that of the true Olympic spirit.

One hundred people have already seen through the pathetic excuses offered by these officials. This cheating is a disgrace to the sport and the Olympic committee must stop protecting their incompetent staff.

Olympic officials are ruining the games. You cant just add time whenever you feel like it. Fix this.
Poor Shin A Lam. My heart broke watching her sit on the strip while they just ignored her. Such a joke.
This was so obviously rigged. The clock was running forever! She deserved that win so much.
Unfair and unprofessional. Fencing is hard enough without the refs messing with the clock.
Justice for Shin! Everyone saw it was over after the buzzer. Why is nobody doing anything???

Total robbery. I watched the replay 10 times and the clock was clearly frozen. The ref needs to be banned from the olympics.
