This petition is for the extension of alcohol sales from 2am to 4am Monday- Friday. The revenues from the extended hours of sales will be allocated to schooling at the college level. This will also be in an attempt to lower the deficit, lower the amount of DUI cases annually and to help to stimulate the economy. The petition will allow for the measure to come to a vote and purposes only a trial run of 1 year for the new law. The law will at that time come to another vote deciding weather or not the public ultimately likes or dislikes these changes.
