We the undersigned, present this petition to the Congress of the United States of America. First and foremost, let it be known that we strongly oppose the abuse and sexual misconduct inflicted on all people, most especially our children, the most vulnerable of our society. We feel extreme empathy for the victims of such heinous crimes. Be it further known that the highest percentages of said deeds occur in the victims own homes. These atrocities are committed generally by an uncle, grandfather, brother, step-brother, father, or step-father. On some rare occasions, these crimes are committed by the female gender of the family. my brother is not a monster. he made a mistake 10 years ago and he has changed so much. these laws just ruin families that are trying to heal.

The system doesnt differentiate at all. It treats everyone the same and it ruins lives rather than helping people get better. Fix this.

People deserve a second chance in life. What about all the kids who lose their dads over this? Does anyone even think about them?

Stop painting everyone with the same brush. Some of us actually have remorse and are trying to move on but the registry makes it impossible.
