Leah Nicole Freeman was a bright, beautiful 15 year-old living with her loving family in Coquille, Oregon. On June 28, 2000 Leah disappeared. The community searched and searched for five long weeks. On August 3, 2000 Leah's slain little body was found approximately nine miles from home. She had been murdered. The only information Leah's family has been given to date regarding her tragic death is that it was the result of "homicidal violence". They have not been given a detailed cause of death. The cause of death, as listed on Leah's death certificate, is "pending investigation". To this day her murder remains unsolved. Among the last people known to see her alive were her boyfriend Nicholas McGuffin and his friend Brent Bartley. Prior to her body being found law enforcement had searched the property belonging to both of the boy's families and they had both taken, and failed, polygraph tests. No suspects have ever been named in the case but the two men remains "persons of interest". Her family NEEDS her case to be ACTIVELY pursued and her killer brought to justice. Her mom is still fighting to get a copy of the autopsy report nearly a decade later. Leah's family needs our help! Please sign this petition so the new Chief of Police and the DA will be persuaded to look closely at her case; her killer has been FREE for far too long, while the family lives through the heartwrenching loss of their sweet girl, Leah. All of her dreams have been forever destroyed by a killer, with only one possible dream now, for her and her family: JUSTICE. THANK you for your support!
