For fans of role-playing games (RPGs) the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 eras are fondly remembered for having some of the greatest entries in the RPG genre to date. Given this history it is unfortunate that the PlayStation 3 remains so lacking in this type of gameplay. There are few currently available RPG titles and few on the horizon for the PS3. For this reason, now is an opportune time for Sony Computer Entertainment to revive one of it\'s only self-owned RPG intellectual properties (IP)--The Legend of Dragoon. This 2000 RPG (US release) is fondly remembered by many who played the title. A second title for the series has long been requested by fans of the original, but Sony has thus far ignored these requests. With the power of the PlayStation 3 the remarkable visuals of The Legend of Dragoon could be fully realized even beyond fans\' imaginations while the release of such a title could simultaneously help fill a void that PlayStation 3 gamers are currently experiencing in the role-playing game genre. If you were a fan of the original The Legend of Dragoon video game, or simply wish to see the current library of PlayStation 3 RPGs further expanded, then please take the time to sign this petition to show Sony Computer Entertainment that fan interest in this title has not waned.
