Imagine birthing your premature baby not knowing if they would survive during a pandemic with a mask on and no village around you as support.
Imagine starting your life at 33 weeks and spending it in the NICU with only 1 parent able to see you once a day due to a pandemic. What that must feel like as a first time mother and father
absolutely shameful treatment of our own people. let them come home.

My heart breaks for this little one. No baby should be stuck overseas when they have family waiting here to support them. Bring them home already!

How can this happen to a family who just want to come home? If they were sports stars or entertainers, I am sure that the boarders would be opened immediately. Where is the compassion and humanity? This family needs to come home NOW!

Remy was born premature during a pandemic. His mother and father are Australian. They endured the worry and anxiety thru snow storms and with no family in the USA to support them. They have waited their turn to come home. They have been bumped from flights. Australia needs to look after its citizens.

It disgusts me that the Australian government has abandoned it's citizens in such a callous way.

There has to be a better way. It is not reasonable or fair for people to uproot their life, travel across a country in the promise of a flight home, ship all their belongings (and their dog!) to then have their flight cancelled with no assistance or guarantee of a flight home. Where are they meant to live?
This is a disgrace!

This Government has devalued Australian citizenship
