Like any startup, opportunities to expand and develop your business are constantly being explored. In other words, we're up at night while most people are fast asleep.
After over a year of R&D, we developed (hands down) one of the best beard and body oils on the market, and just over a month ago auditioned to the producers of the Dragons' Den. They were impressed and later expressed an interest in having us come in to film our pitch to the Dragons for the show's 12th Season. Last week, we received the call to confirm filming details for Saturday May 13th and just over an hour later in yet another follow-up call, this opportunity was rescinded. The reason? Two years ago, another brand had pitched their beard products to the Dragons, so the production team felt it to be too soon for another beard company to pitch again.
Our demographic is different from all other beard brands and our products/branding target a specific clientele. We are different, and proudly so. We want a fair opportunity to pitch our products and have the Dragons themselves decide if they'd like to invest in us. Some may call this an act of defiance, we rather say it is an exercise in will. This is absolutely ridiculous! Beardhood is not just another "beard company". Not only is Bearhood original, the founders have such a rare dynamic that would make a great presentation for TV!

This product is a MUST smell for the dragons. I made a purchase for my husband last year at the Gentleman's Expo. Its all he uses. Dragon's Den would be the perfect opportunity for this company to grow. #letBeardhoodpitch the dragon's won't be sorry.
