The reason why we decided to create this petition is because we want to make our life and the other ones easer. To go to Porto, we need to travel 4 hours on a coach/train to get to Gatwick, and in fact we live at 10 minutes from Bournemouth airport. Bournemouth and Exeter airport only have periodic flies to Faro, and the next nearest airport is in Bristol and WE WANT, NEED, desperately to change that. It´s not only because Porto is a fantastic place to visit (Porto is on the first place in the ranking of the best destiny of Europe and is on third place on world ranking, on Traveller´s Choice Destiny promoted by TripAdvisor). We think that people that lives in south west, in Madeira, and in Porto surrounding areas will benefit as well.
