I want to help create an inclusive environment in the Town of Lewisboro.

By signing this petition, I am among those asking the Town Board of Lewisboro to adopt a resolution to denounce the anti-semitism, racism, bigotry, religious/ethnic discrimination, hatred and bullying of Latino students in our schools.

The resolution states, in part, that the enforcement of immigration laws is the responsibility of the Federal government and not the role of the Town of Lewisboro. It further states that, in carrying out their work, the Lewisboro Police Department and any other town departments will not inquire about an individual’s immigration status, without a judicial warrant.
