To: Mr. Barak Obama; President of the United States of America جناب آقای باراک اوباما: رئیس جمهور ایالات متحده آمریکا در دولت پرزیدنت جورج بوش، بی بی جی و سنای آمریکا تصمیم گرفت تا با اختصاص 1.200.000 دلار، هر روز برنامهای به مدت یک ساعت از رادیو فردا، بخشی از رادیو لیبرتی یا اروپای آزاد، به زبان ترکی آذربایجانی برای ایرانیان پخش شود. گرچه سالها از این تصمیم میگذرد اما تاکنون اجرا نشده است. چه عواملی باعث شده است تا این تصمیم سنای آمریکا به اجرا درنیاید؟ ما امضاء کنندگان زیر از شما تقاضا میکنیم برای کمک به برپایی دموکراسی در ایران و ایجاد جامعهای با حقوق برابر برای همه ایرانیان آن تصمیم سنای آمریکا را به اجرا بگذارید. Mr. Barak Obama; President of the United States of America During George W. Bush's presidency, Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) and the United States Senate decided to allocate an amount of US$ 1,200,000 to broadcast an hour-long daily program in Azerbaijani Turkish for the Iranian Turks (Azeris) via Radio Farda, a part of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. However, despite years having passed since the initial decision was made, it never materialized. What factors might have possibly prevented the decision of the United States Senate to be implemented? We, the signatories of this petition, beseech you to enforce and implement the aforementioned decision of the United States Senate to help establish democracy in Iran and create an equal society with equal rights for everyone
