Right now Apex High School gives their students 40 minutes for lunch if the bells ring on time. Although this may seem like enough time for freshman and sophomores on campus (assuming they don't need to makeup any tests, receive tutoring, etc.), it is not nearly enough time for juniors and seniors to get to their cars, drive off campus, eat lunch and get back in a safe manor. People everyday fly out of the parking lots and speed to and from their lunch destination. Sooner or later someone is going to get severely injured or killed. I've seen many close calls. Please sign this petition if you support making lunches at Apex High School longer.
