Lorna Hirsch for NRCC Board of Governors
Lorna Hirsch is a long-time Raleigh resident and a graduate of UNC Greensboro with a degree in mathematics. She and her husband, Frank, have been active Full Members of North Ridge for over 18 years and reside adjacent to the 10th fairway of the Oaks course. Lorna has served two terms on the House Committee, from 2018-2022.
Lorna is currently retired from 18 years of progressive leadership roles in accounting and finance with Time Warner Cable/Charter Communications. Lorna was a successful leader with valuable and diverse experience in a $25 billion plus annual revenue corporation. She is highly effective in motivating teams and building robust partnerships with all levels of an organization. Some of her core competencies include, but are not limited to, financial planning, budgeting, auditing, consolidations, streamlining processes and problem solving. She has strong management, business, and analytical skills.
Lorna is currently an active volunteer with Friends of Wake County Guardian ad Litem and Meals on Wheels. She served on the American Red Cross Triangle Board for two terms from 2006 to 2010.
Lorna has two married stepdaughters. She regularly utilizes NRCC exercise classes, plays occasional golf and tennis, and attends special dining and event activities at the club.
