Dr. Arnold,
The abrupt policy changes recently implemented raises significant questions and concerns as LRCA parents. Specifically, we have been given poor guidance as to the reason for the changes, of the following:
- Basis for the changes?
- Virtual school?
- Plans if children are sick?
- Exposure and tracing?
- Quarantine protocols?
Our collective goal as parent and educators is to fulfill the LRCA edict of raising our children in practice of the Christ-centered world view. The LRCA administration certainly holds children’s best interest in regard. However, the lack of dialogue further incites fear of our children’s well-being.
We believe it is in the best interest of everyone to have formal in-person opportunity at a collective, civil discussion. Therefore, we submit this petition requesting a meeting with the heads of each building, the Board of Directors, and the LRCA medical advisory board. An optimal date and time is August 12, 2021, 6:00pm, in Warrior Hall.
Sincerely,
Concerned parents at LRCA
If making a reasoned decision, please share the reasons and allow for public comment. We just moved our children to LRCA to also have a voice heard relative their future, not to receive more unexplained dictates via email, nor to be put into cohorts as numbers for reports or compliance. My entire family has been infected, detected, inspected etc., and we’re just fine and don’t need any authority other than God’s truth to make informed and well reasoned decisions. Creighton Ralls
