Final supporters
Lucan has a population of over 46,000 people and yet we do not have a swimming pool. It has around 12 primary schools and around 6 secondary schools. Lucan needs a swimming pool to keep its citizens fit and healthy. This will also encourage its citizens to learn how to swim. Other towns like Clondalkin and Ballyfermot have a swimming pool but Lucan does not. Not only will it bring prosperity to the community, it will encourage the teenage population to stay healthy. Lucan lacks in having facilities and a swimming pool would be a facility that most the population of the town will use.
This is a Junior Certificate Action Project for the third year class of 3A3 in Coláiste Phádraig CBS Lucan.
