Hi everyone! Agnes here :)
Me and a few others are drafting a bill and hopefully presenting it to SGC on October 5th that will ask IC to make November 3rd (Election Day) an Optional Excused Absence Day! This would mean that Students would have the right to be excused from class if they prove they are voting on Nov 3rd itself, or have voted prior to that! Proving this would result in them being excused from every class for that day so they can have enough time to vote, get others voting, and prepare for the outcome since it will be anxiety inducing!

We are doing this because we not only want everyone to vote, we also want you to feel safe doing so —physically AND mentally!! While it’s too late to ask IC for a holiday, we truly believe this is the next best thing!!!
