HEY! I'm sure you know that homework is the most BORING THING EVER! But on the bright side, our test scores are getting worse!! Wait- WHAT?! Students overworking themselves on homework causes them to perform worse where it counts. In Japan, students have less homework and score better. In America, we have more homework and score worse. If you think America should learn a little something from Japan, then let's band together and get this done!

After doing some extensive research, I found that Japanese students get an average of two hours of homework a night. That's roughly 10-12 hours a week. Now while in America you may get three hours a week, you could also end up with 17.5 hours a week. So maybe we should do the 10-12 hours, two hours a night. And that's just average time. If you sit and focus, you may only be working for thirty minutes.

So let's try changing the system to see what happens. Students are getting worse and worse in school. Kids are rebelling more, and learning is losing it's fun with age.
