Puppy farms are an absolute disgrace. Not only are their living conditions beyond imaginable. With up to 3 dogs and 4-8 puppies squashed into one tiny area, with NO room to run, play, walk or even stretch out. And some are kept in tiny cages alone all the time, with again NO where to move. These poor dogs become breeding machines from the get go. With most having a litter up to twice a year - EVERY SINGLE year for the rest of their lives, all they do is sit in a cage or in a concrete area and breed. No time for their little bodies to rest, their hormones to adjust or time for their nipples to stop swelling. Most of the time at least 1 or 2 of the litter dies, due to lack of nutrition from the mother, living conditions and or treatment from farm handlers. The only way this is going to STOP is for enough of us to sign petitions, speak up, keep our eyes open for possible puppy farms and most importantly NOT buy puppies from pet stores, breeders who cannot produce at least 1 of the parents for you to see, and let you see the living conditions. Most of us want a puppy - but the satisfaction you get from a rescue puppy is 'I'm telling you' is just unbelievable. Whether it be through rescue, word of mouth or especially the pound or RSPCA. Most of these dogs need the most love of all... you may not get to toilet train, have 10 pairs of shoes chewed or be woken at 4am for play time. But you get to give love still the same and in return get unconditional love. So please sign this petition to STOP PUPPY FARMS, and make a personal contribution by not supporting them through our purchase of a new furry friend.
