We would like to voice our disagreement regarding Maker's Mark lowering the ABV of their product.  As loyal bourbon drinkers, we appreciated the quality of Maker's Mark.  If there is indeed a shortage, then we prefer quality over quantity, and to say that "they couldn’t tell a difference" between the original and the watered down product is insulting to the customers.  Many, many of us boycotted Jack Daniels for watering down their product years ago, and we would truly hate to have to do the same thing with Maker's.  Many of the signers here are Maker's Ambassadors, whom you say you hold in high regard.  If so, please maintain the original product and ABV.    Sincerely, the bourbon lovers.

Addendum: We appreciate that you have listened to our voices and rightly reversed your decision to lower the ABV of your bourbon.  We will sympathize with neither ballyhoo nor inferiority of product.  We will however raise a glass with you in agreement that neither press nor cutting corners will advance our relationship.  To that end, the customers and loyal bourbon drinkers salut you.
