Petition to Charlottetown City Council regarding the management of Victoria Park Tennis Facility in Charlottetown, PEI

We the undersign state as follows:

1. We believe that all tennis players and coaches who reside in PEI should have fair and equitable access to the Victoria Park tennis facilities.

2. We believe that management of the Victoria Park tennis facility should be the mandate of not-for-profit tennis organizations that promote the advancement of tennis in PEI by offering their unbiased support to all coaches and players who love to play the sport of tennis.

3. We believe that contracting private companies to manage the Victoria Park tennis facility creates a conflict of interest and will result in biased scheduling and inequitable access of the courts for players and coaches not affiliated with the private entity.

Please don't make our public tennis courts "private"!
