I am currently talking with local vendors who are eager to bring their goods to Main Street. The momentum is growing and the vision for a weekly market is becoming a reality.

This is a great idea since there are really no good ones around. Organic fruits & veggies & pastured organic eggs would be great!
As a former resident and business owner in Manasquan the town could only benefit from weekend farmers market vs the Thursday only market in the past. More people in town on the weekends shopping locally instead of heading to Red Bank or Asbury Park farm markets. Keep it real, keep it local !
PLEASE COME TO THE MEETING ON APRIL 7 at Borough Hall at 7pm supporting the Market - We are up against the Chamber Board who will be speaking against this Market going through if fear of competition (Board Secretary runs a Thursday Market non consistent and President owns florist) Councilmen will not vote yes with out chamber support????
Who is this petition going too? Who will run it? Belmar and Asbury already have weekend farmers markets so farmers may not want to spread themselves too thin. I started the farmers market at the county fair last year and it was not easy.
We need this on the weekends, I can't get to farmers market during the week days

I absolutely adore the idea! If you ever need help in anyway please give a call...I have a few local moms who have wanted badly to begin a co op as well but lack of land had fallen short. Good Luck and you have our support
