I am a mother of a 20 month old little girl. And since I had her I had never noticed before how many places do NOT have changing tables in their bathrooms in Rhode Island. Men AND Women's. I went to a restaurant...a FAMILY restaurant and NO changing station! I had to change her on the counter near the sinks!! And that wasn't the only time!! So many places do not take into consideration the inconvenience of not having anywhere to change your child. Parents/Guardians are forced to change them in the car, counters, even floors!! I believe every place that had to have a mandatory Handicapped bathroom should ALSO have a changing station for babies. I understand nightclubs, fancy restaurants, but places like West Valley Inn for example...Brewed awakenings...it should be mandatory!!
