This petition is started to feed my deep seeded need to have Marc Thompson (possibly the best audio narrator/voice actor) continue his work on Star Wars with completing the unabridged version of Star Wars: New Jedi Order.
This is a 19 book series by multiple authors and follows the Skywalker clan into a war with a galaxy even further way. The genocide waged by the sadistic Yuuzhan Vong is one of the most epic tales Legends has for its fans.
As a dyslexic person, the novels have always been difficult for me to fully get into and take multiple times of reading to fully understand the massive universe that is Star Wars. Through the help of Audible and Marc Thompson I have been able to experience so much more with ease. He has led me through Thrawn's rise and fall (and "rise" again), he has led me as Luke finds his new academy and hopefully he will lead me through so much more. Please help me to have him guide me, and you, through the most intense war our favorite characters will ever be apart of.

I really thought this might just disappear into the void but seeing all of you show up for this has been wild and honestly I still keep refreshing the page just to make sure it is real. Marc Thompson is basically the only narrator who can do the Vong justice and it is so cool knowing I am not the only one who feels that intensely about it.

The New Jedi Order book series, encompassing 19 books about the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the Star Wars galaxy was my first entrance into the Star Wars Expanded Universe. To have Marc Thompson, quite possibly the best voice actor ever, complete recordings for audio books of the New Jedi Order series would be a dream come true. Someone who knows Marc, please convince him to do this! Star Wars fan, both hardcore and casual, will throw money at this just to get actually good Star Wars content.
This would be amazing to happen! Big fan of the EU aka The Legends of Star Wars New Jedi Order.
Would love to see this. Really liked the series but the narrator's were very difficult to stomach
This book series was a monumental one in the legends time line. I find it insulting that right now we only have an abridged version of this available to us on Audible. Art like this should be presented in it's original form.
I bought every abridged audiobook that was released, and I’ll gladly rebuy the unabridged versions.
