Patient’s that are being treated for chronic ailments should have the right to improve their quality of life. Medical marijuana is being used in 17 states and should be legalized nationwide. It is used as an alternative medication to treat for pain, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms that are associated with chronic diseases such as multiple sclerosis, AIDS, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and other chronic illnesses. Medical marijuana should be used as an alternative drug because it has changed the lives of many American’s and given them a better quality and end of life experience.
