Dear Colonial Square Co-op Board of Directors,

This letter is written to each of you to let it be known how concerned we are about the action that was taken to dismiss our current management without a viable replacement. You have placed the Co-op in the position of having no manager or assistant manager to carry out the many necessary duties for the continued well-being of the community.

We are currently without any management while you search for an on-site manager. This now may lead to haste in your search with the added pressure of time constraints. Further, to hire a new manager without the availability of our former management to bring them up to date on the many projects and intricacies of our unique status does not create the seamless transition as promised, hence this action does not serve the Co-op’s best interest.

It is essential that you reveal to the community members the points that you were unable to agree upon with Marcus Management so that we have an understanding as to why you would put our community and financial security at such great risk.

Please be prepared to explain how your decision was prudent and in the best interest of our Co-op and further, in the spirit of transparency, identify those within our community and other cooperatives that are or will be providing property management guidance.
