As many fans of the original Shazam series the role of Billy Barton was played by Michael Gray. He and the other stars made this series a success and we were all a part of it as well.
With the re-vamp of the series to a movie many of us missed seeing Michael in the role. Of course this was impossible. However, Michael did deserve to have some sort of a role and it would have been great to see the original cast some how involved . This has been done in many remake including Starsky and Hutch , with both stars in cameos at the end of the film. Michael to show up in the second movie as some sort of Mentor in teaching the new billy the ropes.
I am a fan o both the series and of Michael and would love to see him in the next one i hear is in the process

Warner Brothers keeps ignoring the legacy of the original series while they push their own agenda. This momentum shows them that fans will not stand for the complete erasure of Michael Gray. We are building the pressure they are clearly trying to avoid.

Michael gray is an absolute must to be in this movie! Move heaven and earth to get him in this movie! Thank you,lisa McKnight, FAN 4 LIFE!
Make this happen for those of us who grew up watching Michael Gray on the Saturday morning show!
They should always bring back the original casts when they can. Michael can play a teacher or the school principal, maybe someone who knows the secret.
He should be in the next one, That would make it all the more interesting. Even if just in a cameo shot. He is part of the legacy of Shazam! for so many.
Michael was terrific in the show, and has continued to be a heroic figure in fan's eyes on the convention circuits and in keeping the Shazam! flame alive. It's the right -- and fun -- thing to do!
The fan base needs to be heard. Shazam’s popularity first in comics, then serials and finally Saturday morning is strong. Great opportunity for cross promotion.
