Please help show the Missouri Legislature how important it is that Missouri create a Film Incentive Program. Film Incentives can work for the state of Missouri. The film industry is a multi billion dollar industry and Missourians deserve to be a part of it. Film Incentive Programs do not just support the film industry. Missouri brick and Mortar businesses will benefit from an incentive program; such as construction workers, restaurants, hotels, accountants, dry cleaners, retail, clothing designers, musicians, local cast and crew members. These are just a few of the many other jobs who will reap benefits of a Film Incentive Program. It will stimulate economic growth. It will promote tourism in our state. It will provide jobs to your constituents. With the right program in place it will also serve education in Missouri. Please sign this petition to encourage Missouri Legislature to create a Film Incentives Program that works and bring with it new jobs and revenue to Missouri. Thank you for your support!

I am honestly stunned that five hundred people have put their name behind this movement. This is entirely your doing and I am just happy to be along for the ride.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you have joined this effort. If everyone here could send this link to a few people in their contacts today we might finally hit that five hundred mark. This momentum is entirely because of your belief in our state.

I honestly never thought we would reach one hundred signatures this quickly. This momentum belongs entirely to the people who took a moment to show they care about our state.

As a candidate for Alderman in Branson and the founder of the Song of Hope Assembly I can say that our show community is in full support, we have the talent to not only shoot the films here but also for our locals to have starring & supporting roles!

Missouri is a beautiful state that deserves to be shown off. Why isn't the show "Ozark" or the movie "Three Billboards" being shot in Missouri where they're based? Because other states wooed then away. Missouri has so many stories to tell. Let's give her a chance to do so.

I am literally moving to Atlanta tomorrow because the amount of work in Kansas City is so scarce. I love living here but I can not support myself with the few opportunities that present themselves here.

As a KC native and LA based producer, I would love to bring projects to the area! I know how wonderful KC is and how easy it is to film there. Having state incentives in place would make it so much easier to get the rest of my team on board to film in Missouri.

Bring more jobs to Missouri. Not only actors but Stage builders, Prop Builders. It brings Plumbing jobs, Electrical jobs, routine maintenance jobs, Driving Jobs, rent to realtors, Tourism. And Most importantly it brings Creators and Creative minds alike to a area that couldn’t hurt from Creativity!

I am born & raised here in Springfield Missouri. I have been working in the entertainment industry since 1987. We need more support from our great state of Missouri to do what we love and to be able to make a sustainable living. Thanks, FXMike.

There is no reason that Kansas City shouldn't be a film industry destination. Make it so!

Hello, My name is Royce Williams and I am a author who has been trying to get one of my novels made into a motion picture. I've been told by many that my book "Dream Man" is well liked. But I have spent the last several years trying to raise funding or at least get help to bring it to reality. I wanted to do it here, but St Louis is extremely competitive and not to mention awfully clickish. So until things change St. Louis will continue to miss out on the phenomenal wealth, prestige and growth that other states such as Hollywood California or New York, have come to harness and embrace all that comes from the multi billion dollars film industries success. St Louis has an unexplored untapped potential for huge mega successes in the film industry. Its sad.. I am starting to consider going elsewhere to make this film happen.
