On behalf of concerned parents: The manufacturer Merck is the ONLY producer of the MMR vaccinations and currently have halted any further production of the single vaccinations of measles, mumps and rubella. At this time, only the combined MMR vaccine is available to our children. As parents and future parents currently have no other choice with the current vaccinations offered (other than no vaccination at all), in that Merck is the sole provider of said, the below demonstrates the demand of those parents who would require single dose vaccinations of each (measles, mumps, rubella)for their children. It is understood that Merck is currently considering producing said vaccines in two years, but the public entitlement to health, hygiene, and safety should waive said waiting period to begin production immediately. Consideration is not on option, as we feel this to be a requirement of the Merck company. As a company that solely represents this required vaccination for any child to enter public schools, child care, and for parent's peace of mind, we strongly urge you to begin producing the single dose vaccines and that they be made readily available without issue or compromise to quantity, quality or availability to doctors in any area of our 50 US states.
