For to long now, the land has been out of use and going to waste, whilst we are having to turn away teams because we are operating at full capacity. The council would have to pay nothing for the lands upkeep if we were given permission to use it, as we would be maintaining it as well.
We the undersigned request that Hampshire County Council let BTC (Southampton) FC use Monksbrook Playing Fields as an overspill sports facility.

I am currently finalizing a formal proposal for the Hampshire County Council to show them exactly how we will maintain the Monks Brook site. Please email your local council representative today to demand they stop letting this land sit empty while our kids need space to play.

The momentum behind our request for the Monks Brook land is growing fast. Now is the time to turn that energy into action so email your local council representative today to demand they let us maintain these fields for our teams.

Great idea. The club takes care of the grounds anyway so the council wouldn't even have to lift a finger.
So many teams struggling for space while that land sits empty. Madness.
The kids need more space to play. It makes no sense leaving that land to just rot when the club is desperate for pitches.
My son loves playing for BTC but they are always so packed. Let them use the fields already!!
Waste of a perfectly good field. Fix it up and let the local kids have a proper place to train.
