We, as residents of Forest City community Hale Moku/Hokulani, have chosen to petition for better law enforcement presence and road signs within our neighborhood. Most specifically at the intersection of Center Drive and Main Street due to several incidents involving vehicles failing to yield and speeding along Center Drive. Several walking families and family vehicles have been put in harm's way due to negligence. As a community, we also believe there is need for flashing stop signs, school zone signs, and possibly a speed detection sign in this area. A sign stating to yield to vehicles exiting the highway may also be helpful. Thank you for your time and consideration.
