The MidCentral DHB is trying to act like these cuts are just business as usual but they are stripping away the independence of people under 65. If they think we will sit quietly while they gut our rehabilitation access they are dead wrong.

The MidCentral DHB bureaucrats cannot ignore this surge of outrage any longer. We have real momentum now and it is time to force them to stop gutting our essential rehab services.

Ridiculous decision. Why cut the beds when people need them the most? Fix this DHB.
Keep the rehab beds open in Palmy. Our community deserves better than these cuts.
My brother really needs this service. You cant just put young people into rest homes and expect them to be ok. This is so wrong
Keep the staff and the beds. People rely on this for their recovery
I hope they listen. Rehab is vital and these reductions are going to hurt so many families in our area.
