They actually put the school back on the bond and I am honestly kind of shocked that it finally happened. I keep thinking about how we were told this was impossible just a few months ago but here we are with the land ready to go. I need to take …

We, the current and future residents and neighbors of the Mueller development, ask you to put Mueller\'s future elementary school back on the 2008 bond package. By your own estimates, neighboring schools will need relief in 2012. Schools take years to build, so it just makes sense to get started now with Catellus\' generous offer of donated land. Mueller and the surrounding community need this school to help us create a positive dialogue about boundaries and school expectations. We don\'t want to send our children to private school, like many in the area already do. We believe that proactive planning, already a Mueller tradition, is the way to show our children that they are our priority. All the technology in the world won\'t make schools better. People working together will. Please return Mueller\'s future elementary school to its rightful place on the 2008 bond package.

I was looking at the original bond language again today and it really is just wild that they thought they could pivot away from the Mueller site so easily. The emails keep pouring in from neighbors who are starting to worry about where their kids will actually go in a few years, which honestly just confirms that we have to keep pushing because the planning department is acting like we might just forget about the deal they made.

My kids deserve to go to a school in their own neighborhood. Tired of driving across town.

Keeping the school off the bond is just bad planning. Dont wait until the classrooms are overflowing to act.

Ridiculous to ignore this. We have the land and the kids, why are we dragging our feet? Build the school already!

Our neighborhoods are growing so fast. The current schools are gonna be packed in a heartbeat. Fix this now.

Put it back on the bond. It only makes sense to start building before we have a full blown crisis.
