אנו מוכים נגד בניית 300 יחידות דיור על גבעת התיתורא. חקירות ארכיאולוגיות חשפו הוכחות לחיים ומגורים על התיתורא מהשנים 3150-4000 לפנה\"ס. ומהשנים של בית ראשון ושני. יש אומרים שבתיתורא הייתה מוקמת בעבר מודיעין העתיקה, בה התרחש המרד החשמונאי נגד אנטיוכוס. ממצאים ארכיאולוגים גם נמצאו מהתקופה הביזנטית, הערבית, הצלבנית, הממלוכית, העותומנית והבריטית. ממצאים עכשווים יותר נמצאו ממבצר אל בורג. יש מגוון בוטני עשיר על הגבעה. במשך אלפי שנים השרידים האורגניים הצטברו ויצרו אדמה דשנה ופוריה, אשר זורם בה מים שמקורם מבורות המים העתיקים שבגבעה ,180 במספר. גשמים הנאספים בבורות מתחלחלים דרך הסדקים ובאיטיות משקים את האדמה. במהלך האביב, יש יותר מ-80 סוגי פרחים. גבעת התיתורא היא מקום אשר לשם לוקחים אנו את ילדנו, בכדי ללמדם את ההיסטוריה ועל הסביבה. בתקווה שבעתיד ילדינו יוכלו גם הם לקחת את ילדם לתיתורא. גבעת התיתורא היא מקום יפיפה הנמצא במרכז עיר אשר נבנת וגדלה, ועליה להיות מוגנת! כאשר אתם חותמים על העצומה, אנא כתבו את מקום מגוריכם We are petitioning against the building of 300 housing units on Mount Tittora. Investigations have revealed evidence of habitation on Tittora dating back to the Chalcolithic Period, (4000-3150 BCE), as well as First and Second Temple period remains. It is contended that Tittora may have been the site of ancient Modi\'in, where the Hasmonaim rebellion against the Seleucid ruler Antiochus IV(168/167 BCE), took place. Remains from the Byzantine, Arab, Crusader, Mamluk, Ottoman and British occupations are also evidenced on Tittora. More recent historical remains are of the El Borge military post. There is a rare botanical abundance on Tittora. Centuries of accumulated organic remains on the hill have helped create a fertile soil, which is complemented by a water supply from the existing ancient water cisterns (over 180 in number). Rains collected in the cisterns seep out of the cracks and slowly irrigate the land. During the spring, there are over 80 different types of wild flowers. Tittora is where we take our children in order to teach them about their history and about their natural surroundings. In the future our children should be able to do the same for their children.
