Which means a natural hair woman will have to go to a cosmetologist who has very limited experience with textured hair and get hair cut or colored. Which usually result in excessive heat being applied, which can damage hair if done improperly. This petition will cause the board of cosmetic art to re-examine the way natural hair care is set up, our goal is for them to separate braiders and natural hair care specialist. Allowing braiders to go to school for 300 hours and natural hair care specialist to go for at least 1000.
