Please sign our petition to help get Clean River Project funding to clean the infected needles out of the water people drink from and swim in, the Merrimack River. NH State Officials are not realizing the extent of this problem and need people to tell them! There have been comments from state officials on how they are insulin needles, etc. There are hundreds of thousands of needles floating down the river today, most, of not all, of which are from drug users. Do you want your child swimming and being poked or picking up an uncapped needle? Do you want to be drinking from water that has hundreds of thousands of infected needles floating down it daily? State officials are still hiding behind pathetic excuses about insulin needles while our families swim in toxic waste. I am sick of the cowardice and the silence from the people who are paid to protect this river. We refuse to let them ignore the reality of human waste and drug paraphernalia poisoning our water supply.

State officials are trying to dismiss this crisis as a minor annoyance while our water remains a toxic hazard. This massive surge in support shows them exactly how many of us refuse to let them ignore the needles poisoning our river. We are going to force their hands until they finally cough up the funding to clean this up.

I support treating Mother Nature with respect and it breaks my heart seeing how absolutely trashed and filthy the river side is
This problem is ridiculous and should have never been allowed to go to this extent.
