On the Tamizh talk show Neeya Naana telecast in Vijay TV on 17 Aug 2014, Anchor Gopinath insulted the doctors and actually accused them of sustaining the diseases and conditions like BP and Diabetes for commerical and monetary benefits. He concluded that Master Health Checkups and USGs during Pregnancy are of no benefit and only created by doctors for their own benefit. He also accused Chennai doctors of not supporting minimal investigations due to their own vested selfish reasons.
