I oppose the town issuing a RFP and/or selling the property at 108 Woodfall Road as one parcel which could allow for its use as anything other than four single family lots.  I would prefer to see the land remain undeveloped for wetland, wildlife and tree preservation.  If the Town of Belmont intends to issue a RFP or to sell the property, I request the Town stipulates that the parcel must maintain its current residential zoning for use as no more than four single family homes to be built on four lots. I am concerned that the development of a For-Profit facility or of any use other than single family homes would expose the Town and its residents to unnecessary risk, would be out of character with the quiet residential nature of the neighborhood, would lower the value of the homes in the Belmont Hillcrest and Belmont Hill neighborhoods, and would add additional unwanted traffic which could endanger our children and pedestrians and could create considerable stress and unneeded wear to the already deteriorating road infrastructure.
