MHA's developers have been threatened with death. Minors are paired with adults, and the characters are sexualized. Some MHA fans had created inappropriate artwork or videos of the minors. Some of these fans chastise others for not thinking the same way they do, and they become enraged when the ship isn't canon. Others are bullied, criticized, and gaslighted by them. Some adults impersonate minors and engage in inappropriate conduct.
