Ngāti Te Kanawa, Ngāti Peehi Supporting Signatories - Wai 587
i) implement the proposed mandate strategy with integrity
ii) represent the interests of all the parties specified therein with integrity OR;
iii) negotiate the comprehensive and final settlement of ALL historical Treaty of Waitangi grievances against the Crown with integrity, including those that relate to Wai 587 and our hapū of Ngāti Te Kanawa and Ngāti Peehi ki tai, ki uta
4. We submit:
4.1 that we have been prejudicially disadvantaged by the instruments, intentions, implementation and application of the mandate strategy
4.2 that we have been prejudicially disadvantaged by the Minister’s execution of Crown Policy applied to the mandate strategy and notification methods and period of 17th December 2014 to 8th February 2015 for submissions
4.3 that the Minister in his active duty pursuant to the Treaty of Waitangi Act, 1975 has conveyed a Crown Mandate that encourages the perpetual subjugation of the undersigned and that of our whānau and descendants, their respective whānau and descendants and that of our hapū of Ngāti Te Kanawa and Ngāti Peehi ki tai, ki uta
4.4 That our Wai Claim, Marae, Hapū and All Other references and graphics relating to the ancestral lands, forests and fishery estates and all other rights and interests of our tupuna and hapū of Ngāti Te Kanawa and Ngāti Peehiki tai, ki uta inclusivebe removed forthwith!
4.5 That the mandate to represent our Claim and; or negotiate a settlement of our Treaty grievances and outstanding claims, rights and interests against the Crown shall remain;in perpetuity with theundersigned, our whānau and descendants, their respective whānau and descendants and our Hapū of Ngāti Te Kanawa and Ngāti Peehiki tai, ki uta
4.6 that Ministerial consultation with our Hapū in relation to negotiating a comprehensive and final settlement of Our and ALL OTHER Treaty grievances against the Crown for whom the notified mandate strategy is intended,shall NOT occur prior topublication of the full and finalReport of theWaitangi Tribunal on the comprehensive Wai 898 Te Rohe Potae inquiry
