On December 20, 2008, ]Syntax Error[, an intellectual group of Super Smash Bros. Brawl fanartists were about to release their texture hacks for Brawl. However, Nintendo threatened to throw a lawsuit if they ever released them to the public. Thus, ]Syntax Error[ was forced to close their project. Why is Nintendo doing this all of a sudden, you may ask It's because they are lacking funds! They only make $6 for every Nintendo Wii that's sold! And the only way they can think of making a profit is to threaten fanartists, who have been loyal fans and consumers of Nintendo for the past two decades What a shame.
